Single Molecule Analysis in Real-Time (SMART) Center

- Dr. Sethuramasundaram Pitchiaya joined the lab on January 2nd 2012. He will bring extensive experience in single molecule imaging, particle tracking, colocalization and FRET imaging.

 

- The facility has been inaugurated on April 4th, 2011 and is now open: 3080 Chemistry Building. The final version of the time-resolved confocal ALBA is installed and the Single Particle Tracker and Single Molecule Nanomanipulator are under construction. 

 

- A new research scientist has been hired: Tristan Tabouillot will be in charge of setting up the equipment and managing the facility.
